Nursery and Reception - Potter Class

Welcome to Potter Class

We are the Early Years here at St Marys.

Our Class teacher is Mrs Budd.

Mrs Rose teaches us on a Wednesday afternoon and Friday all day.

We are supported in our learning by Mrs Wallace.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stages means we plan, assess and carry out Invitations to Play and Learn for our children here at St Marys; using the EYFS statutory framework as the basis of our curriculum.

We ensure that all children have equal opportunity to thrive and discover here at our school and are treated with the upmost care and dedication by our team.

 Our PE Day is Tuesday

PE kits will need to be worn to school on a Tuesday. 

Please can a PE kit be: 

Blue Shorts and White T-Shirt or

Navy/Blue Jogging Bottoms and hoodie for all weather conditions. 

Suitable trainers.

Our Outdoor Learning day is: Friday

Please send your children to school wearing their school uniform on Withy day. They need to bring in waterproof clothing to cover their arms and legs for outdoor learning. This can be a puddle suit or a waterproof coat and waterproof trousers. 

Wellington Boots

A pair of Wellies should be named and brought into school at the beginning of term - the children will use these for both Outdoor Learning and during the wetter playground sessions.
