Relationships and Sex Education at St Mary's C of E Primary School

At St Mary's C of E Primary School, our approach to Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is informed by our caring ethos.  Our school values are important in ensuring that RSE is approached with compassion and respect.  Our policy has been written through consultation with parents, staff members and governors.  After previous units of work, we also gathered the views of children about their learning, which helped us to write a policy that meets their needs.  If any parents have any questions about our approach to teaching RSE, please contact your child's teacher or a member of the leadership team.
