School Meals Information
Our school kitchens, managed by our catering partner Aspens, prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our students. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are automatically enrolled for a Universal Infant Free School Meal. Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are charged at the current rate for a school meal.
Healthy Eating Initiatives
We are committed to making our school lunches even healthier, working closely with Aspens to improve menus. A three-week menu rota is available to parents.
Allergy and Dietary Requirements
If your child has a food allergy, please complete the Alternative Menu Form (Allergy Lifestyle Notification and Medical Diet Request). Until the form is submitted, your child will be served a jacket potato.
Meal ordering and Payment
All meals, whether provided by the school or packed lunches brought from home, must be pre-ordered and uploaded via MychildAtSchool. Payment for school meals is required in advance.
Packed Lunches
Parents may also choose to send a packed lunch. If a child forgets their lunch, and parents cannot be contacted in time, the child will be provided with a school meal. Payment for this will also be processed through MyChildAtSchool.
Lunchtime Arrangements
Full-time pupils stay at school during lunchtime, benefiting from social interaction with peers and staff. After eating, children are supervised on the playground or field. During poor weather, children remain indoors and participate in 'wet play' activities.
Free School Meals Eligibility
Children may qualify for free school meals if their family receives certain benefits from the DWP. To check eligibility and apply, please follow this link:
